Organization

Hämeen Mokia ry is a Christian association founded in 1998. Our purpose is to help people find their place in life. We have created an environment and activities where people at risk of being marginalized have the opportunity to change, and to stop for a moment to think about their lives, values and priorities as we give them somethign meaningful to do.

We work in partnership with the Hämeenlinna unemployment Office, MYP (municipal, unemployment Office and Kela's expert and service network), social work and A-Clinic Foundation. Häme's ELY Center supports our operations with the City of Hämeenlinna.

Mokia started it´s activation trips already at early stages of operation. The aim was to get our target group out of their own environment and give new perspectives to life. We combined travel with charity whenever possible. Vehicels we built ourselves and payed for the expenses with all sorts of work.

Millions of people have experienced a total change of life by receiving Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and thus receiving a fresh beginning for their lives. Why not you too? Everyone´s got a chance.

Direct quote from the Bible, psalm 92:5-6; "5 How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep! 6 The stupid man cannot know;
the fool cannot understand this:"

1st Corinthians 1:21; "21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe."

If you want to know the Truth, are you going to believe in the doctrines and rituals invented by men or would you humble yourself and ask the Son of God, Jesus directly: "Dear Jesus, help me find the answers."
